You&#8217;re in the right place because this is exactly the thing we&#8217;re talking about today!<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why do I get this error?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There&#8217;s no exact reason behind the trigger for this app, but the good news is that it can be solved very easy.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to solve Error 495 in Google Play<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After doing all the required research, we&#8217;ve come across three main methods of solving the Google Play Store Error 495.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Method 1: Clear the Google Play cache<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This is the &#8216;classic&#8217; method to get rid of an error like this, as it works in most cases.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; Apps\u00a0 and open the list with all of your apps<\/li>\n<li>Look for Google Play Store, open it and tap Clear Data and Clear Cache<\/li>\n<li>Go to the Apps list again and look for Google Service Framework<\/li>\n<li>Clear Data and Clear Cache for this app as well<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Play Store and see if the error appears again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Doesn&#8217;t work? Try the second method!<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Method 2: Remove your account<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to System settings &gt; Account &gt; Google and remove your Gmail account<\/li>\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; Apps &gt; All and look for the Google Play Store.<\/li>\n<li>Tap on it and look for the Clear Cache and Clear Data options. Tap on them.<\/li>\n<li>Tap on Force Stop as well.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat the previous two steps for the Google Service Framework and Download Manager<\/li>\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; Accounts &gt; Google and add your Gmail account again<\/li>\n<li>Restart your phone or tablet<\/li>\n<li>Set up the device again, add your account and accept the terms and settings<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Play Store and try installing an app, in order to see if the\u00a0 Google Play Store Error 495 appears again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If this doesn&#8217;t work either, proceed to the next one.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Method 3: Install a VPN<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Install the Hideman VPN app from the Play Store (if you&#8217;re lucky enough and it works) or install the .apk directly<\/li>\n<li>Open the app and select the United States as your country of connection<\/li>\n<li>Press connect<\/li>\n<li>Open the Play Store and see if the error persists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any of these methods should help you fix the Google Play Store Error 495, according to a lot of users who used them.
