However, it\u2019s far from being perfect, one of the issues it\u2019s dealing with, according to some users, is the fact that it won\u2019t turn on, all of a sudden. If yours is not behaving like this, don\u2019t worry, it doesn\u2019t mean that this will happen anytime soon. Just some specific Samsung phones<\/a> are dealing with this problem. <\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, if your Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge won\u2019t turn on, you should try some troubleshooting on your own, before eventually taking it to a service to have it fixed or get a replacement if it\u2019s still covered by warranty. <\/span><\/p>\n

Perform a Force Reboot<\/span><\/h2>\n

The easiest thing you can do is the equivalent of the battery pull procedure you could do on a device with a removable battery. However, this is not possible on a Galaxy S7 Edge, since the back is sealed. <\/span><\/p>\n

Boot it in Safe Mode<\/span><\/h2>\n

Presuming that the phone is now charging properly, but still won\u2019t turn on in the regular mode, you might as well try booting it in Safe Mode. This will temporarily disable all third-party apps and services that could cause the problem. Just follow these steps: <\/span><\/p>\n

    • Keep them pressed for a few moments until you see the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge logo on the screen.<\/span><\/li>\n

    • When you see the Android logo, you can release both keys<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Wait for about 30 to 60 seconds, until the phone finishes rebooting<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Your Galaxy S7 Edge should respond after this, but if it doesn\u2019t it means that you need some serious help. Take the handset to an authorized service center and see if it still can be fixed. Eventually, you may need to replace the battery with a new one.
