What do you do when your Blackberry does not ask for code?<\/h2>\n

It may happen that the Blackberry<\/span><\/a> does not ask for the code and does not display\u00a0the messages: \u2019\u2019SIM Network Unlock PIN<\/strong>\u2019\u2019<\/em> or \u201cEnter Network Lock Control Key<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, in such cases when there is only the message \u201cNetwork Locked\u201d<\/strong> there are two simple methods you could choose from.<\/p>\n

Firstly, you have to turn on the phone with a non-accepted sim card in it and follow the next path SETTINGS > ADVANCED OPTIONS > SIM CARD<\/strong>. Hereafter, 2 more actions are needed:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Type MEPD<\/strong> using the keyboard (you can\u2019t see anything typed on your screen);<\/li>\n
  2. Type in MEP<\/strong>, hold ALT and press 2<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Finally, another screen pops up for the 8 or 16 digits unlock code.<\/p>\n

    The second option is just slightly different. You also have to turn on the phone with a non-accepted sim card in it and follow the next path: OPTIONS > DEVICE SETTINGS > ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS > SIM card<\/strong>. Henceforth, 2 more actions are needed:<\/p>\n

    1. Type MEPD<\/strong> using the keyboard (you can\u2019t see anything typed on your screen);<\/li>\n
    2. Type in MEP<\/strong>, hold ALT and press 2<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Now, after inserting the unlock code, the device should read \u201c Code Accepted \u201c.<\/p>\n
