Errors for blacklisted phones<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Invalid MM#6<\/strong> or<strong> Phone Not Allowed MM#6<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9448\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150211_192812-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150211_192812-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150211_192812-84x150.jpg 84w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150211_192812-768x1365.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150211_192812-576x1024.jpg 576w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/20150211_192812.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Invalid MM#2<\/strong> or <strong>Phone Not allowed MM#<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Invalid MMI<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you ever encounter any of these errors, there is no doubt that your phone is blacklisted, and the best way to proceed is to contact the network provider from where the phone was originally bought.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To find out if your phone is <\/span><b>Blacklisted\/Stolen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">you can always verify it on <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imei.info\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">http:\/\/www.imei.info<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by inserting your unique IMEI number into the designated field before trying to unlock it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Rarely, some network providers will use this error to keep you from unlocking your phone if you are still under contract with them. This is somehow an abuse on their part because these errors should only be used when the device has been Lost\/Stolen (Blacklisted).<\/p>\n<h2><b><b>2. &#8220;Invalid SIM&#8221;, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/how-to-fix-not-registered-on-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SIM Not Registered on Network<\/a>&#8221; or &#8220;Unrecognized SIM&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n<p>For any of the above SIM card errors you have to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9447\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tNeFnnY-169x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tNeFnnY-169x300.png 169w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tNeFnnY-84x150.png 84w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tNeFnnY-768x1365.png 768w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tNeFnnY-576x1024.png 576w, https:\/\/www.unlockunit.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tNeFnnY.png 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 169px) 100vw, 169px\" \/>turn off the phone;<\/li>\n<li>take the SIM card out from its slot;<\/li>\n<li>put it back;<\/li>\n<li>turn on the phone;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If it still does not work, you should try inserting the SIM card into a different phone and if it does not work in a different phone either, you have to contact your network provider.<\/p>\n<h2>3. &#8220;Incorrect PIN&#8221; or &#8220;Incorrect password&#8221;<strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you get the message <strong>\u201cIncorrect PIN\u201d<\/strong> or <strong>\u201cIncorrect password\u201d<\/strong> after inserting the unlock code, it means that your phone does not ask for \u00a0<strong>\u201cNetwork Unlock Code\u201d<\/strong>. Thus, when you see the message <strong>\u201cInsert PIN\u201d<\/strong> or <strong>\u201cInsert password\u201d<\/strong>, \u00a0you have to insert the <strong>PIN<\/strong> of your SIM card or the<strong> password<\/strong> of the phone both which should be known to you.<\/p>\n<p>The messages you should look at when you want to unlock your phone are <b>\u201cSIM Network Unlock PIN\u201d <\/b>or<b> \u201cEnter Network Lock Control Key\u201d<\/b>. These are the messages that merely say \u201cInsert the unlock code here\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2><b><b>4. The Internet is not working<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n<p>It rarely happens that after unlocking your phone you cannot use your internet, but this can be easily fixed from APN settings.<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>You just need to call the Network Provider you want to start using and ask for the APN details.
