It\u2019s been a while since Samsung Pay is present on the market, coming pre-installed on the South Korean manufacturers\u2019 flagships<\/strong> (starting with last year\u2019s Galaxy S7<\/strong> and S7 Edge<\/strong>) but people are still not aware of how easy this payment system can make their lives<\/span>.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re one of them, you\u2019re in the right place, since today we\u2019re talking about how to use Samsung Pay with ease, in order to make all kinds of payments quickly, directly from your phone.<\/p>\n

How can I set up Samsung Pay?<\/h2>\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Open the app<\/strong>, from your home screen or apps menu and touch the Start<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>: Type your Samsung account info, then touch Sign In<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong>: Make sure you go through all the Samsung Pay Terms of Service and agree to all of them.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Touch<\/strong> Use Fingerprint<\/strong>, in order to assign it as your standard verification method. If you prefer using a PIN instead, touch\u00a0Skip\u00a0<\/strong>and use the Samsung Pay PIN<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Step 5<\/strong>: If you haven’t set up a pattern, a PIN or a Password lock, the phone will require you to set one.<\/span><\/p>\n

After completing your verification method, you can add cards and use Samsung Pay.<\/p>\n

How do I add a card to Samsung Pay?<\/h2>\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Open the Samsung Pay app<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>: Touch\u00a0Add\u00a0<\/strong>and then pick the\u00a0Add a credit card or debit card option<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong>: Align the card<\/strong> in the frame on the screen and the app will automatically detect the number and expiration date.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>: You will be asked to add some additional information<\/span>. When you’re done, tap\u00a0Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 5<\/strong>: Go through the Terms of Service, then press\u00a0Agree to all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 6<\/strong>: Pick your favorite verification method<\/strong> in order to authenticate your identity.<\/p>\n

Step 7<\/strong>: Enter the One Time Password<\/strong> you will receive, then touch\u00a0Submit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 8<\/strong>: Enter your signature, then tap\u00a0Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 9<\/strong>: Touch\u00a0Done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

How do I make a payment with Samsung Pay?<\/h2>\n

Step 1<\/strong>: From your home screen, open the app<\/strong>. You can go to the app’s menu or directly from the Lock screen if you’ve placed it over there as well.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>: If you’ve set multiple credit card, select your preferred one<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong>: Put your finger on the Home button<\/strong>, in order to check your identity. If you prefer using your Samsung Pay PIN, select the PIN option and enter the four-digit code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>: In order to make a payment, simply put the back of the phone on the card of NFC reader,<\/strong> available at the payment terminal.<\/p>\n

The connection can be unsuccessfu<\/span>l, in some cases, so you can try scanning the phone again, by touching the Retry button<\/strong>. It’s not necessary to enter your identity again.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: Some terminals will require you to check the total charges<\/span>, while others will require your signature<\/span>, for the payment to be completed. Also, if you’ve added a debit card to Samsung Pay, you will need to provide a PIN.<\/p>\n
