What to do if your code is not working LG?<\/h2>\n

If after inserting the <\/span>\u201cSIM Network Unlock PIN\u201d<\/b> you receive the <\/span>\u201cUnlock Unsuccessful\u201d<\/b> message, do not worry there are several actions that you can take to ensure that your phone will be unlocked.<\/span><\/p>\n

First of all, check the IMEI number<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Check if the IMEI is the correct one. Dial *#06#<\/strong> to get the IMEI and also check the sticker underneath the battery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Secondly, insert all the unlocking codes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The unlocking codes you have received should be the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

NETWORK, SUBPROVIDER, PROVIDER, DEFREEZE, EXTRA<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are some cases where only one unlocking code is provided. Those devices do not require multiple codes as the one provided can fully unlock the phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thirdly, try all the unlocking codes<\/b> that were sent to you<\/span>, <\/b>unique for your phone, but make sure you <\/span>don\u2019t use all the attempts.<\/b><\/h3>\n

If you find yourself in the situation of entering the wrong code too many times and your phone now prompts you for the <\/span>\u201cSIM Network Unlock PUK\u201d<\/b> just insert the <\/span>DEFREEZE <\/b>code and your phone will once again ask for the <\/span>\u201cSIM Network Unlock PIN\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n

Make a hard-reset<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The unlocking codes we’ve sent you are the <\/span>unique and correct codes<\/b> for your IMEI. If the unlocking codes do not work you have to make a <\/span>hard reset <\/span><\/b><\/a>of your phone and after that try again. Please be informed that the hard-reset will restore your phone to the factory settings, so all apps, data and settings added by you will be removed. We advise you to make a backup or save all data you want to keep.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, you need to make sure that you’re running <\/span>stock ROM<\/b><\/a> (the original ROM of the phone) for the unlock code to work.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the device\u2019s ROM has been changed or tampered with the unlocking codes will not work.<\/strong> In that case, you will need to install the stock ROM<\/span> that the device had when it first came out the factory doors.<\/span><\/p>\n
