iPhone Unlocking Process

The unlocking process of the iPhone is a bit different from the unlocking process of all the others. It does not require an unlocking code because the device will not prompt you to insert one.

Usually, when a non-accepted SIM card is inserted into the phone it just won’t be recognized by the device and the iPhone will not prompt you to insert a code.

All iPhone devices are unlocked through their IMEI and Network Provider.

The device’s IMEI needs to be registered as Unlocked by us in Apple’s database and afterward, there are a few steps you can follow in order to complete the unlocking process:

  • Installation of the latest version of iTunes on a target PC
  • Updating the iOS to the latest official version available on iTunes (if not already up to date)
  • Inserting a non-accepted SIM card and connecting the phone to iTunes
  • Wait until iTunes will detect your phone
  • Now disconnect the phone and reconnect it after 10 seconds
  • Phone is Unlocked

In order for the Unlocking Process to be successful please make sure that you provide us the correct IMEI, Country, and Network from which the phone was initially bought.

NOTE: If the Unlocking Process of the iPhone was successful! your phone will remain free of any carrier lock even after new updates of your phone firmware.

All things being said and done, your iPhone should meet the freedom of working with whatever carrier you would like.
