  • I’m not on my Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 tablet right now, but with it I’ve had this Play Store error popup consistently. I’ve already used both methods 1 & 2 with variations thereof, without complete fix. Did encounter something interesting regarding downloading/updating over WiFi in the last 2-months. I’m using public WiFi hotspots, can’t say public library hotspots are the pillar of stability. However, chanced upon fast 5GHz WiFi a couple times (where the tablet could be using dual^channel WiFi), Walmart’s here in N. America is great, and found the Play Store downloaded & updated app almost instantaneously. This does not fix the problem but allows the installation and maintenance of Play Store apps. My tablet has not such similar problem downloading from the internet (so solution 3 should work) & the only explanation I could come up for the Play Store problem is Android is encountering a switching or timing problem.

  • The problem 495 is shown every time i tried to download bubg
I use a very strong wifi
I was trying for last four days and it is not working
    My phone is S7 edge

  • For me, I fixed it in another way. I tried all above solutions but didn’t work. Finally what I found was, I previously installed a VPN app called “no root fire wall” . In that app previously I disabled net connection for “market feed back agent” .
I just gave net permission to that… That’s all… My problem solved.
So if you have any APN app in your device and facing this problem then look in to VPN app.
    Thanks.

  • Does method 3 works??? I tried 1 and 2 but it’s not working. I am trying to update pubg mobile but error 495 shows up.

  • Thanks for the idea!
I switched to an other WiFi connection (shared from a mobile) then it helped, Google Play works again.

  • Well nothing worked and I did it in order..
Im runnin andy 9.0 on a galaxy s9 plus..
    Cant update pubg mobile..
    Any other solutions?..

  • Well I’m trying to update PUBG via wifi but error 495 always comes out if the download gets to 300mb+ even though my internet speed is superfast. I cleared the cache and im using a very clean galaxy s9 plus.. no other game app except PUBG and apps are either stock google or Samsung’s.. and I only use one from either of them.. should I uninstall the app and reinstall or do these procedures instead?..
