What is the difference between the unlock code and PIN/PUK

Are you not sure about the difference between the unlock code and PIN/PUK? Do not worry!

If the message is displayed on your phone is “Enter PIN” and you have 3 attempts to insert the correct pin, then you need to insert the PIN code of your sim card.

This is a 4 digit code, set by you. Usually, the default PIN is 0000, but you might have changed that.

This is not the Network Unlock Code. The Network Unlock Code we provide helps you unlock your phone in order to be able to use it with another network provider different from the original provider (the one that you originally bought your phone from).

For example, you bought your phone from AT&T and you want to use it with T-Mobile.

If you enter 3 times a wrong PIN, then your phone will ask for PUK code which can be found in the original package of the SIM card. In the case that you don’t have it, you can call your service provider and ask them to send you the PUK code (it’s free).
